Why not grow vegetables in your front yard?
I am very happy to be currently working on a design project that is very close to my heart: a landscaping in front of a house, without a lawn, and only edible and medicinal plants. This type of project is possible as long as your municipality allows it. Some require a lawn and very often at least one tree.
Many properties have more hours of sunlight on the front yard than in the courtyard. Hence the frustration of not being able to grow fruits and vegetables because the sun is just not on the right side.
The design plan will be completed this fall and the finalized in the spring. I will keep you posted on this great project!
